SS Feldersatz batt. 5 'Wiking'

Post by GuidoS »

Good evening Gents!

I'm looking for more information and photograhpic about the SS Feldersatz batt. 5.

I allready posted this request here (the reason for the search etc.): Feldgrau topic link

But this is the place to be and for a more ontopic result.

For family/personal research i'm looking for battle reports, photo's, unit history, books etc.

Who can help me out more?!

Thanks in advance!!!

Is this Nedderhof Alfred NEEDERHOF, Kdr. of the Westland regiment in 1945?

Hello dnl-panzerschreck!

Strassner's book do list Nedderhof, and after him Hack, as commander of the Westland Regiment in 1945. Strassner consequently spells the name Nedderhof. It has been several years since I've read the book and since it has no A-Z name index in the end (the 1988 edition), I haven't had the time to find out about any eventual details (if there are any, that is) about this particular officer...

Thanks Doktor!

I think I am wrong concerning the spelling: I've be having a look around and it looks as it is spelled Nedderhof.

/Thanks
