Were there any SS Panzer units fighting around the Ruhr area.

As the amatour I am, I'm not good at this. But I managed to find this by googleing a little: "Even the staging area for the 6th SS Panzer Army was situated so that it looked like it was the reserve against Allied attacks against the Ruhr further north."

Thank you Grim, but this sounds as if it's before the Ardennes, I was wondering about after the Ardennes.

If you could specify your question a bit in terms of timeframe and geopgrahy please ?

For example , in April 1945 in the Padarborn area , outside the Ruhrpocket , fought the "SS-Panzerbrigade Westfalen" , and adhoc tank unit formed out of treining personal , see :
