OT maybe

But in 2004 there were a lot of pretty good ZDF/WRD documentaries
about the frische nehrung/ defence of berlin/ Seelöwer heights

And there was a real sentimental one (made me cry, just alittle bit though)
a film called: So weit die füssen gehen, incredible story/incredible footmarch!

Can some of our german friends give some sort of an intresting update
to some must see Docu's????

Lucky me i receive the ZDF and WRD on cable

but aside the other ZDF/WRD programmes really .........

hi everybody,

I have also seen the DVD and I enjoy it a lot, as I have seen images never seen before!
The only problem was that I don´t understand german, but the images speak for themselves...
I bought it about 2 months ago direct from Polar Film (http://www.polarfilm.de).
The service is quick and very good.
Also you can find a lot of more interesting DVD´S regarding the Third Reich footage (colour and black/white)

regards

why you are so interested in demjansk pocket?
I can't really speak for M.H., but people intrested in the Demjansk pocket are mostly intrested because it's part of military history, etc.

I'm interested because it was a very intense and long siege/battle with high casualties on both sides who were faced with harsh difficulties . Something worth to remember and to know about.

Greetings to Demjansk and welcome to the board! :D

PS: My english is worse!
