hi, my Dutch friend Edgar from a WWII forum told me a story about his grandpa having a chat with a Allgemeine SS soldier in Netherlands during the war. I wonder if there were any Allgemeine SS units in Holland, to prove this story? thanks for any help!

Allgemeine SS units in Nederlands?
Algemeine SS
There was a "Nederlandse SS", an offshoot/copycat sprouting from the Mussert Garde.
This name was later changed to "Germanische SS".
There may have been units from the Algemeine stationed somewhere, but I don't know where.
Timo to the rescue.
