Did German U-boats go to Japan

Post by Tbirdismypride »

Hello, I was wanting to know how many if any German uboats made it to Japan. I understand there was a Monson Group of uboats operating from Penang. Did any of these uboats go to japan to exchange technology for gold from Japan?
