Hello gentlemen,
may someone tell me if the piece of news about a British soldier seized at Malta on 1942 by German sailors landed from an E-Boat is just one of the many legends of World War Two of if ther's something true about this matter?
I believed to remember something about this same topic in this very forum some years ago, but I was unable to recover the thread.
Greetings

Re: A British prisonier seized at Malta, 1942
Hello Enrico
A friend sent me the following
There is a book by a former gunnery officer on Malta which mentions a Maltese soldier being captured by German raiders. It is in "Who Cares Who Wins" by Jimmy Quentin Hughes MC
Hope this helps
