Hello! Does anyone know the full name/rank of the commander of Fallschirm-Artillerie-Regiment 2 in the summer of 1944? I have a reference to an Oberst Winkler being in command in Brittany. Thanks for any assistance!

According to my sources, Major Franke was CO of FAR2 before Oberst Winkler. Major Franke commanded from 20 Dec 1943. Oberst Winkler commanded up till 3 Sep 1944. I'm sorry but I don't appear to have the "switch over" date.
