Fallschirmager casualties

Post by mlvrstdt »

Hi. Old to the site, but haven't been here in years. Used to be known as Fritzderkat. I have questions about the Fallschirmager. What was their strength at the start of the war and again at the finish? What were their casualties, dead and wounded? What percentage of the Wehrmacht's total casualties was theirs? Thanks for your attention.

They did not fight as FJ in Normandy but as infantry .

Not a straight forward question if you are talking about percentage of jump trained FJ as opposed to those taken into their ranks later an only ever served as ground troops.
