Information about a Luftwaffe squadron insignia

Hello all,
I am trying to help a friend obtain information about a certain WWII Luftwaffe unit insignia. The "insignia" is on a beer stein with the vet's name and rank. We wish to identify the unit , type of aircraft flown and possibly unit's history/missions, etc...
We have done some research ourselves but are uncertain of our findings. To those that can help, we sincerely appreciate your time and effort. Attached is a photo of the beer stein with the squadrons insignia. Thank you so much !!

It is from 4.(F)/14 which is a Long range reconnaissance squadron of Aufklärungsgruppe 14.
