Hi to all, again.
10 IX 1939 Wołomin ("Wolomin" - if your machine doesn't display the letter "ł", the "soft l") was bombed by some German planes.
The text I have read states, that they were flying eastwards to drop their bombs somewhere else, but they were "provoked" by a flak fire from Wołomin and bombed it in revenge. In fact, it was a military rail transport that was firing, but Germans did bomb the area 1-2 streets off the place, where the train was standing. I don't really know, whether they missed (well, it seems very possible) or didn't care about accuracy and bombed the city itself.
Question: which unit, where they were flying to, what planes?
Pozdrawiam, TPMM
