At the beginning of the war 14 and 25 Panzer Divisions did not yet exist and the SS Adolf Hitler Division did not yet have any tanks.

1. Geschichte der Division



Aufgestellt am 22. Oktober 1943 aus dem Panzer-Regiment Leibstandarte SSAH mit drei Kompanien und der 1. SS-Panzer-Division unterstellt. 1944 in Belgien aufgefrischt, wobei die I./ mit Panzer 5 "Panther" ausgerüstet wurde. Nach der Vernichtung des Regiments bei Falaise wurde es im November 1944 neu aufgestellt.
Aufgestellt am 15. Juli 1942 in Frankreich bei der 15. Armee aus der SS-Brigade "Leibstandarte Adolf Hitler". Die Division wurde am 22. Oktober 1943 in 1. SS-Panzer-Division "Leibstandarte SS Adolf Hitler" umbenannt.

At the beginning of the war (September 1939) 14 and 25 Panzer Divisions did not yet exist and the LSSAH had no tanks.

14 and 25 Panzer Divisions and the LSSAH received tanks later (1940-42).
