Per the subject, link above is to a new Facebook group for the discussion of written fiction about the Wehrmacht (novels, screenplays, comic books, graphic novels, etc.) Hoping to connect fans, writers, publishers, proofreaders etc.

Hell, I do all sorts of proofreading! Maps, too! I'll join!

I am also working on a fictional work. It's in parallel with the divisional history I'm working on, so it's going VERY slowly.....

Well, I've done proof reading for a few authors here. I also have worked with some people who don't speak English as a first language. There was one book that we almost re-wrote, because the translation was rather wonky.

Hey, it keeps me off the streets!

Good stuff. Finding good proofreaders and beta readers is always a chore. Can't blame people either, really. I've offered to read fiction for other aspiring readers and sadly didn't always follow through on my promises. Best thing I ever did was take some fiction writing classes through the local writer's society, which forced us to critique other people's work in addition to teaching us the best ways to do it.

I am retired and have plenty of time for proof-reading and suggestions.
I have been studying WW2 German topics since 1970's and have a large reference library.
Contact me if interested for proof-reading.
