Yes, its very good book, lots of photographs and documents inside. And yes, as a good tradition here, only in Estonian. And then we complain, that nobody understand our history.

Perhaps an English edition could be persuaded to be published for Estonian language book market is terribly small and an English edition should be economically viable.

I have a few friends who had books published in German. The greatest setback to making an English edition, which would increase the potential market for their books, has been the cost of obtaining a reliable and high-quality translation. This usually amounts to about $150 per page, - or about $20,000 for even a very small book. This (usually) must be borne by the author. Few of us are so wealthy as to be able to afford it.

It seems based on a quick look of available professional translation services pricing lists (Finnish companies) that the going rate is something like $60 per page. Still not cheap. So, perhaps the best way e.g. in this case would be to have the text translated by an English speaking Estonian enthusiast and then a native English speaking enthusiast would do the final editing. E.g. one Finnish small publisher uses a such an enthusiast to translate pilot memoirs (the translator is also a former air force pilot) from German to Finnish as hiring a professional translator would be economically nonviable.
