in English. at an insanely-low price.

Order it. Order it now. I have. :D

sadly, we Brits have to pay more, :( but it's still a bargain. :D

Shame I already spent a fortune on the original German edition.

Pre-ordered a while back while browsing upcoming titles from the major publishers. Gotta love Stackpole.

.. picked up a copy of Schäufler's original German edition too this year ...and discovered that Kurowski had already lifted some lengthy passges from it for his Panzer Aces titles

You forgot to type the word "badly" between "already" and "lifted". :D

No idea, sadly. I wonder if it's the same person who translated the anthology of first-hand Ostfront accounts (including Stempel at Stalingrad).

It's encouraging they're producing new material as well as those excellent JJF reprints at a much more affordable price. Now if someone can persuade them to do Vopersal and a certain Polish campaign book, I'd be quite happy... :D

Robert Edwards is doing some translation work for Stackpole, now that he is no longer a partner in JJF. I would guess this will be his translation, though I have no confirmation of it.

Now delayed until June according to an e-mail I've just had from Amazon. :( Mind you, I have the odd book to keep me busy while I wait. :D

We'll see when the book actually comes out. I had Battle of the Bulge vol. 2 in my hands around the end of January. On Amazon, it was indicated that the book would be released on February 28, but that it was in stock and available. So this could well be a case again where the book is available sooner than its list date. At least I hope so
