Terrible Victory by Mark Zuehlke
This book details the fighting in the Scheldt Estuary between Canadian II Corps and units of the German 15th Army. One of the bloodiest and least mentioned campaigns of the war IMO.

The Trail Of The Fox by David Irving. An outstanding biography of Rommel which reads like a great novel. I cannot recommend it enough.

I've nearly finished reading "Biess, Frank. 2006. Homecomings: Returning POWs and the Legacies of Defeat in Postwar Germany USA: Princeton University Press". Can't say I recommend it or not.

Currently reading: "For Free India - Indian Soldiers in Germany and Italy During the Second World War". By Martin Bamber and edited by Aad Neevan. A very well researched book with good photographic material. I highly recommend it.

Also received and wasted my time reading "The SS - A New History" by Adrian Weale. I threw that in the rubbish-bin.

En av Oss: Norske frontkjempere i krig og fred by Vegard Sæther.

Another book about the Norwegian volunteers who served in various units of the Waffen-SS (Wiking, div Nordland, Den Norske Legion, etc), it has a heavy focus on first hand accounts by veterans. Recommended if you happen to speak the language.

I have just finished reading this book.I agree its a very good read its one of Irvings better books.Its way above the likes of the much debated Hitlers War.
