It's a very good first-hand account of Fallschirm operations - and from a middle-ranking commander; there aren't too many of those. It's not as vivid as say Pöppel (although his account of Crete is pretty brief) or as good as Ringel's
Hurra die Gams. It's a decade or so since I read it, but the fact that there aren't too many references to it here:
http://www.axishistory.com/index.php?id=8524 is a reasonable indicator that it's good but not that good. (Apologies in advance for a shockingly bad account of the invasion of Crete...)
I'd suggest getting an inter-library loan to test the water.
