I also write the German translation, than others can better see where I've got a mistake:
invictus - unbesiegt - undefeated
gallus - Hahn/Gockel - cock or
Gallus - Gallier - Gaul
Gladiator - Gladiator - Gladiator from Gladius - Schwert - sword

Brian67 was correct. Only I'd prefer Gaul/Gallic to cock/rooster, basing my preference on the other 2 words, that, IMHO, would better "couple" themselves with a "strong barbarian" then with the male of a hen :D :D

Invictus = Undefeated

Gallus = Gaul (if substantive), Gallic (if adj.)

Gladiator = Gladiator

Best regards

Could Gallus also be a name (of a/the gladiator)?

I seem to remember reading years ago that there was a type of gladiator known as a Gaul, from his dress and armour, like other gladiators were known as Thracians, Samnites etc.

I don't know if this fits in with the context at all.

You are right. Gallus can also be a name. I hadn't this idea, because Tony asked for a translation.
If Gallus isn't the first word of the sentence, you can see it from the first letter. With G it is a name, with g not.

The romans did not have a lower case alphabet. All letters were capitals. Gallus is a cock not a Gaul. Rough translation VICTORIUS FIGHTING COCK
-motto of the U.S.S. Saratoga - Firebird atop shield with crown with trident on it. Banner Invictus Gallus Gladiator" below

Oh you mean the three words are ONE sentence. I thought Tony only wants to know the transaltion for this three words.
If it is one sentece (why are there semicolons between?), than Bruno is right.
