Here is anothe word (along the same vein as my previous post) that we are having some difficulty with: abschliessungsriegels

Here it is used in a sentence: "Kal aus westl. richtung unterstutzt, aus dem Kessel entlang der Zwischen-Schneise gegen die Westfront des abschliessungsriegels vor alle Vorstosse wurden blutig abgewiesen".

Brian, according to my dictionary (Schöffler-Weis) "riegel" in military temrs is a Flank Group.
