Hi all,

I can't really get my head around this paragraph. SS-Ostuf H. is recommended the DkiG instead of EKI or the EKI award should have been higher for the follwoing reasons (not listed)?

Das DKiG wird EKI – Trägen verliehen, die mehrer besonders tapfere Taten nachweisen können. SS-Ostuf H. hat am 2.08.41 das EKI erhalten und soll sich, wie hier von verschiedenen Seiten in Erfahrung gebracht warden konnte, in folgenden Fällen besonders bewährt haben:

Hello Scott,

"The DKiG is awarded to soldiers which have already been awarded the E.K.I and distinguished themselves by bravery several times afterwards. SS-Ostuf. H. received the EKI on Augst 2nd 1941 and has, according to several independent sources, distinguished himself in following situations:"
