Positions with the Police

Post by Scott Revell »

Hi all,

I am looking at someone's record and came across some career positions that I would like a translation of please:

1. Hundertschaftaführer der Polizei - ?

2. Perssonalsachbearbeiter - something expert

3. Verkehrsoffizier - Traffic Officer

4. Hilfereferent im Bayerischen Staadtministerium -?Helper in the Bavarian City ministry?

Thanks for the help in advance

Cheers

Scott

Hello,

I also correct the words just for the case you need them correct.

1. Hundertschaftsführer der Polizei - A Hundertschaft is a unit designation within the police (100 men). So this is a commander of a Hunderstchaft.

2. Personalsachbearbeiter - Personnel administration clerk

3. Verkehrsoffizier - Traffic Officer

4. Hilfsreferent im Bayerischen Staadtministerium - I think the word is "HILFSREFERENT" which would be a surplus "teacher" who teaches something or talks about something in public or within the ministry.
