whose diary is fascinating, but he can be very terse and cryptic at times...
Schulz abends zurück. Reichsmarschall gnädig. Berichterstattung geglückt. RM und Führer lassen mich bitten (ausdrücklich) bei Armeen weiter "Moralkourier" zu sein!
[Oberst] Schulz [Richthofen's Ia] returns in the evening. The Reichsmarschall is forgiving. The report went well. The Reichsmarschall and Führer ask me to continue to spy on the Army's morale (in particular) and report back.
I'm assuming he's being asked to report on Sixth Army's morale. But I may be way off the mark.
I've yet to find any evidence in the diary that Richthofen was ever wrong - in his own mind that is. He was a cock-sure bastard...

A little more von Richthofen
No-one who speaks German could be an evil man
Re: A little more von Richthofen
In deed, he was asked to be "Moralkurier", this means he shall transmit "pieces of moral" to the armies, were he will be send to.
So he will go to be a tool to influence the leaders which he contacts by direct contact to the RM and the Führer. On the other hand he will report about the emotional situation of own troops to them.
