Hello. In German evening reports from 1941 I see this construction:
Am 6./7.41
1.) wurden durch die Divison
a) .... Gefengene
eingetracht,
b) .... Flugzeuge,
.... Pz.Kpf.Wg.
.... Pz.Sp.Wg.,
.... Fahrzeuge
[and so on]
erbeutet bzw. vernichtet.
Then section 2.) covers the division's personnel casualties (hatte die Division folgende eigenen Verluste.)
My question is, does section 1b refer to enemy equipment or friendly? My guess is that it's enemy equipment, since captured enemy are listed in 1a, but I'm not positive.
Thanks

Re: German evening report
Your guess is correct Gary, Ib is a list of equipment captured or destroyed.
Grammatically erbeutet and vernichtet depend on wurden at the beginning of the sentence;
Oops, I sound like my old teacher
