I have a rough idea about the import of this statement but second opinions are always welcome (and probably more correct!): 'Die Brigade verliert trotz hohen abschusszahlen alle Geschutze'.

Something along these lines:

Despite a high rate of fire, the Brigade lost all its guns.

'Die Brigade verliert trotz hohen abschusszahlen alle Geschutze'.
My opinion:
"In spite of the high success of putting out of action (I presume tanks or guns, etc.), the Brigade lost all their pieces of artillery (or guns)."

Hi Rudi,

I thought that might be a possible translation but as I'm not a native speaker I wasn't 100% sure.

Thanks
