Looking for information

Hi all, I just started doing research into my fathers side of the family, his great uncle’s were in WWII with the Germans (I can’t find unit information and the WASt is taking up to 2 years for information). I only have the information from the Volksbund on where they died. I’m looking for more information on the 3/592nd HVPI and it’s location near Rūjiena, Latvia. As well as any information regarding a POW camp operated by the Soviets at Nikolajew, specifically what happened to the bodies of those that died at the camp.
