Luiz Paulino Bomfim

Some of you won't know this Veteran but others may remember him for posting in early 2002.
He passed away just recently just shy of his 92 birthday.

Luiz was with the Brazilian Infantry Division and had the privilege of capturing
the 148th Infantry Division of the German Army near Fornovo, just near Parma Italy.

I could post some of his observations and actions if anyone is interested?

Hey Tom, it was at the same time Joscha was posting.....but I am sure others wouldn't remember
him either.

Vets seem to get forgotten quickly..shame.

So many Veterans have passed since 2000, I don't think people realized that we had as many
posting since they didn't always make a big deal out of it just quietly contributed in their way.

That's true. It also didn't help that Joscha left under a cloud.
