Grandfather's Kriegsmarine service

Could someone please translate these ranks for me. They came from my grandfather's military service record and I would like to add their meanings to my family history. Thank you.

1.10.1937 Marinestabsartillerist
1. 4.1938 Marineartillerieobergefreiter (Umernennug)
1. 4.1939 ubz. (2 dots over u) Marineartilleriemaat
1. 9.1939 plm. Marineartilleriemaat
1. 9.1941 Marineartillerieobermaat
1.10.1942 Marineartilleriefeldwebel

His service dates were 1.10.1935 - 7.5.1945 Kriegsmarine

Also, if you could direct me to a website that shows what his chevrons would have looked like.

Actually, it's not all that difficult. Find whichever one of those sites lists the ranks with the various jobs. Then it's just a matter of substituting Marineartillerist for whatever job field they list.

The ranks are the same, just different jobs in the title. A lot like the US Navy. A Machinist's Mate 3rd class is the same rank as an Electrician's Mate 3rd class, just the titles are slightly different.
