I am making a radio programme for BBC Radio Scotland on the lives of German Prisoners of War who were kept in POW camps in Scotland. I am particularly interested in prisoners who were kept in Camp 21 Comrie and who returned home to Germany afterwards. I would like to bring them back from Germany to the camp in Scotland to hear their memories.
Does anyone know of any organisation that might be able to help me trace a prisoner who I could bring back.
I would be grateful for any information you could give.
thanks.

COMRIE CAMP - CULTYBRAGGAN - CAMP 21
Two weeks ago I met in Phoenix Arizona a German from the Kreigsmarie who had been aboard the U569 when she was sunk on May 22nd, 1943. He was sent to Comriecamp. I was able to reunite him with his first girlfriend. If you would like to know his story please contact me at [email protected]
