Can someone please tell me if RemI Schrijnen is deceased? I have heard he was and was just wondering?

Yes, sadly, that is true. He passed away last summer.

Thanks for the answer with what I was afraid I would see. Remi will surely be missed. I had communication with him for sometime and then lost track. RIP Remi.

It was an honor to know him, even if it was only through letters and Christmas cards. A very kind man, courageous and unapologetic about his service, and incredibly generous to researchers and collectors alike.

Remi was a great leader from Belgium. I have a book about him "The Last Knight of Flanders"
