Did Hitler have Personal Bodyguards?

Post by Kameraden »

I take it Hitler had a few trusted individual Bodyguards over the Years?
If so who?

I am not talking about Army or Waffen-SS Units'but actually named Persons!

Was Julius Schreck a Bodyguard as well as a Driver??
And Kempka i don't think was a Heavy or Tough'and only a Driver.
I will show you were the Iron Crosses Grow!

Ulrich Graf was the first Bodyguard of Hitler in 1920. The driver and semi bodyguard was Emil Maurice too. Graf received several bullets on november 9, 1923 during the putsch.

After he continued protecting Hitler until when he was named Deputy -I think- in the Reichstag.

Hello to all :D; after a while...................................

The "Chauffeureska".

AH's inner daily circle was made up of his chauffeurs and bodyguards; Among them Julius Schreck, Emil Maurice, Erhard Heiden and Sepp Dietrich (from 1928). According to some sources, Hitler so sympathetically named his confidants and according to others, was an unflattering epithet that referred to those who had progressed to the highest ranks from low positions such as chauffeur. By 1929 Maurice and Heiden (Reichsführer SS before Himmler) had been dismissed and Heiden was executed in 1933 ..........
