Not sure off hand, but one thing is for sure is that he is a holder of the Spanish Cross, possibly in silver or gold from the looks of it. If that is the case one should be able to more closely pin-point the identity of the officer.

Like Jason no idea.

But you have some facts to narrow it down.

1) Middle Aged.
2) Spanish Cross.
3) Major Rank or Higher
4) KC with Oakleaves Winner.

2 and 4 Narrow it down considerably to only a few individuals.

You might won´t to try and post this picture at http://www.das-ritterkreuz.de

But the amount of Luftwaffe officers with Oakleaves and Spanish Cross should be considerably low.
