Greetings Helmut -
ORBATS is a slang term for Orders of Battle. Sorry about that - in future I'll stick to "Gliederung" as I believe this is the proper term?
Please correct me if I'm wrong - thanks much -

Thanks Shadow.
I just had never come across that term before. I'll just store that in my memory under nice to know things. Actually GLIEDERUNG is what the US Army would call an MTOE, modified table of organization and equipment. That is the document which outlines all authorized personnel and equipment for a specific unit.
Thanks again

ORBATS
Geez, and I thought ORBATS was a US Army term! (I was a sailor). I've known them as O/Bs and I think OOB is a Brit term. But of course we all know that they all equate to the lovely German term "schematische Kriegsgliederung". Happy hunting, kamaraden!
Best regards,
