Landesschützen-Zug der Luftwaffe 168/VI

Post by Landau »

Hello,

tough question but has anyone any information about Landesschützen-Zug der Luftwaffe 168/VI?
This platoon was part of Landesschützen-Kompanie 3/VI and operated as airforce security unit for airfields at Bukarest, Romania (possibly Otopeni) in August 1944. The company could have been subordinated to Kdo. Fl. B. 21/XI

One of my great-grandfathers served in this unit as he got MIA.

Thanks so much

Have you tried contacting the Bundesarchiv for materials related to your Grandfather? They may still have some record of his war service up until he is listed as missing.

Best,
