I am seeking information in regards to Feld Post nummer 20656.

I can find this info->

(2.1.1940-27.4.1940) gestrichen, wurde Fp.Nr. 21764 C,

(15.2.1942-30.7.1942) Fahrkolonne der Luftwaffe 4/VII.

But who was the number assigned to after 30.7.1942?

I guess the dates refer to who used the number in the mentioned timeslot?

I have a letter from my grandfather, which was posted 8.12.1944, so I know the number was used after 1942. I think my grandfather was deployed with 20. Luftwaffe Feld Division, in Jutland, Denmark in 1943/1944, so I guess the Luftwaffe reference in the Feld Post nummer makes sense.

Any help is appreciated.

The dates are an approximate time frame for when the number was first used, not start & end dates.
