?? on organization of III./Pzgren-Rgt.2 LSSAH in 1943

Post by castro323 »

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone can provide me information
of the organization of III./Pzgren-Rgt.2 LSSAH in early 1943 (February-March and May-July)
This is what I know:
III.(gep.)/Pzgren-Rgt.2 LSSAH
11.Kompanie
12.Kompanie
13.Kompanie

My question is
was 14.Kompanie a Maschinengewehr or regular ?
was 15.Kompanie a Flak or schwerer ?
was 16.Kompanie a Flak or InfanterieGeschutz ?
was 17.Kompanie a InfanterieGeschutz or Panzerjager ?
was 18.Kompanie a Panzerjager or Aufklaerngs ?

Thanks in advance,
Apollo

Interesting. I just learned something new.
Thanks again Brad.
I was wondering, where can I buy the books of Niehorster series. What is the book tiltled?
Do you know if the series includes the KStN units for Inf.Div. Grossdeutschland in spring/summer 1943?

Hi Brad,

Do you know if the TO&E are correct.

PanzerjägerGruppe (schwere Panzerbüsche Zug – KStN 1127)

Can anyone help me clarify the tactical symbols provided by Mr.Hunter
weapons of PzGrenRgt.2
I./ 4-18?
II./ 4-18?
III.(gep)/ 4-34?

What does the 4-18 and 4-34 mean?
4 platoon and 34 SPW or 18 trucks?

Also, can anyone provide the organizational symbol (Kriegsgliederung) for PzGrenDiv LSSAH in 1943.
If possible, for January-March 1943 and May-July 1943 gliederung.

Thanks in advance,
Apollo

Hi Mr. Hunter,

I was wondering if you can provide the KStN for
Panzerjäger-Abteilung LSSAH in late 1942 and 1943,
Pionier-Bataillon LSSAH in late 1942 and 1943.
If possible.

Thanks in advance,
Apollo E.R.
