606 und 2/403

Post by Ramirezzz »

hello gents,

while reading the Kriegstagebuch of the 3rd tank division i met some difficulties with units desinations. See the sentence below:

"Durch Weisung Gen. Kdo. Pio. Fuehrer werden der Div die Brueko Pi.10 , 606 und 2/403 fuer andere Verwendung genommen".

Pi.10 should probably mean the Pionierbatallion 10, but which units could mean 606 and 2/403 ?

thanks in advice,

Dmitry

Dmitri, I don't think so, I think that the numbers refer to "Brückenkolonne" which was shortened to "Brüko", some of which include Pionier in their title.
