Hello,

I don´t know if you refer to the Wehrmacht but in the Wehrmacht sometimes the "Ersatzheer" (replacement army) is translated as Reserve army.
It was responsible for training new soldiers, host reconvalescent soldiers and train soldiers in special courses. This army provided the replacements for the "Feldheer" (field army).

Hello,

Well, with this information it is impossible to tell anything. In the" Ersatzheer" and/or in a military district (called "Wehrkreis") were thousands of commanders of various offices, authorities, installations etc...

Am researching my grandfather's history in the military. He was stationed at the Fixed Radio Station in Breslau beginning in 1937. Wondered if you had found out any additional info on your great uncle.
