I'm interested in actions of 2. Gebirgs-Division in Poland in the light of German sources and documents. If you know any source references on operations of this division in Poland, I'll be glad for any help.
Also I'd like to ask how much is written about the Polish Campaign - especially the battles of Bircza & Boratycze - in this book: "Es war ein Edelweiß - Schicksal und Weg der 2. Gebirgs-Division" by M. Kräutler & Karl Springenschmid?
Is it worth to buy this book? Or maybe there are just a few pages with just laconic description of the campaign?
Also - does anyone know how to get "Alpenkorps in Polen" by Hergo Manz, Gauverlag und Druckerei Tirol, 1940?
