Air assets

Post by afrika.90light »

Hello all
Looking to find what air assets would have been available to 4 panzer div. late war. I'm painting some stukas for my war gaming and need some units to look up so I can paint accordingly'. Thanks in advance.

Hello William,

Just that I understand your question. You are looking for Stuka units which were in the operations area of the 4.Pz.Div. and could have been involved in support missions for this division?
And in connection with the Stuka (if you mean the Ju-87) it is important what you understand with "late war"

Hello Christoph,
Thanks for your reply. The time frame is abt.44-45. And is the Ju87. I mostly use my a/c as bombers (dive) but have been used as cannon a/c. They're 2 tone upper surface, as this is what I understand was the way, with light blue lower surface.
One day I'll have to post pictures of my army as this site has been such a great help in both what was in the unit and how it would have looked.
I'm in the process of painting the Stukas some Luchs and a/a.
Anyway again thanks for your help.

Hello, this site has a small collection of wartime JU-87 color pictures:

Maybe this can help you with your colorizing job!
