Panzer-Grenadier Division Feldherrnhalle Divisional Signs

Post by Bill Cirillo »

Hello,

I am looking for a quality divisional symbol/sign graphic for the Panzer Grenadier Division Feldherrnhalle. It is described as black shield emblem with a yellow wolf-rune. Would anyone here be able to point me in the correct direction.

Thanks!

Bill, This site has very good coverage of the divisional signs and has FHH in the "runes" section.

I have seen this divisional sign in different colors also.

Alan,

Thanks for the link. Great site!

Unfortunately, they are showing the same red colored wolf-rune graphic that I have seen elsewhere. Both Alfonso Sánchez's book "Feldherrnhalle: Forgotten Elite" and the book "MCS-010 The Sturm of Budapest. Elite forces of a Reich book" both list the symbol as being a yellow wolf-rune set on a black shield.

Thanks!

In "Panzer Colors III" by Bruce Culver, the divisional sign lacks the black shield as illustrated on page 33. I was just thinking; what are the divisional sign differences between FHH 1 and the rarely covered FHH 2 ?
Thanks,
