Infanterie Division 302 - Eastern Front.

Post by Feldjäger »

Hello experts of the forum,
I am searching informations on the "Dieppe Division" division during her final trial on the eastern front in 1944. Particularly, I'm trying to find the exact whereabouts of the division from january 1944 onwards.
Best regards.

This is what Tessin has:
Jan. 1, 1944- XVII AK, 6th Army, Hgr. Sud, Nilopol
Feb. 1, 1944- IV AK, 6th Army, Hgr. Sud, Nikopol
March 3, 1944- IV AK, 6th Army, Hgr. A, Nilolajew
Apr 15, 1944- Kgr, 6th Army Res, Hgr. Sudukraine, Odessa
May 15, 1944- XXX AK, 6th Army, Hgr. Sudukraine, Tighina
June 15, 1944- XXX AK, 6th Army, Hgr. Sudukraine, Tighina (not in Tessin; in OKH Kgl.)
Jul 15- XXX AK, 6th Army, Hgr. Sudukraine, Tighina
Aug. 15, 1944- XXX AK, 6th Army, Hgr. Sudkraine, (OKH Kgl.)
Aug 31, 1944- Hgr. Sudukraine, "whereabouts unknown" (destroyed) but OKH
Kgl. says in XXX AK, 6th Army

The exact O/B dates are from Tessin's 6th Army O/Bs

Madeja says:
9/1- Cimislia, Husi, Rumania
10/1- demobilization; incorporation into 15th and 76th ID

Hope this helps somewhat.
