Guys,

The both of you are asking a lot of detailed questions about this or that type of vehicle with this or that division.
Numerous times I've written that the monthly status charts should not be taken too serious, as there are a lot of influences which could cause errors.
Well, here are some.
Below you will find the authorized strength (as by KStN and specially ordered changes) for the 6. Panzer-Division from 1.8.-1.12.1944.
Added to that, there's a detailed strength calculation from the 2. Armee which gives the real number of personnel available, and missing.

It's in this order: 0/0/0/0/0 (Offz./Beamte/Uffz/Mannsch./Hiwi)
353/-/2190/7747/747 (1.8.1944, source: Meldung)
381/-/2977/10850/750 (1.9.1944, source: Meldung)
384/82/2818/9104/691 (1.9.1944: source, IST / FEHL-Stellenmeldung, AOK 2)
307 (159)/-/2810/9855/709 (1.10.1944, source: Meldung)
308 (86)/70/2792/9848/699 (1.11.1944, source: Meldung)
305 (84)/71/2781/9755/687 (1.12.1944, source: Meldung)

Well, isn't this confusing!
This is only 1 division. The authorized strength goes up and down, which one is correct?

If I take all the KStN based on the Gliederung and combine them, the result comes close to the AOK 2 strength:
384 O, 84 Beamte (+2), 2818 U, 9104 M, 691 Hw (and of course, I think I have found an error in the AOK 2 strength report (which by the way is not unusual), being the +14 M in the Felders.Btl.).
