Hi people,
I'm new on board. First of all I want to thank admin for accepting my registration.
I'm looking for general info on the SS-Supply Battalions.
And further, more specific, on the 5. SS-Pz.Div.Wiking SS-Supply Battalion 5.
SS-Supply Battalions command structure, number of personnel, vehicles, tasks, insignia...,
and more specific, data on the 5th Battalion's role in the Konrad Ops (Hungary, 1945), are most welcome.
Many thanks in advance,
/Kurt

Hi,
The websites Wiking Ruf may have the answers that you are looking for, at least on the personnel side. Lexikon der Wehrmacht might have more for you. That's all I can think of off the top of my head.

Hello Kurt,
I haven't got much (at all) on the subject, but the commanding officers for SS-Divisions-Nachschub-Abteilung 5 during the war were named Eggersdorf (1942), Wolfsreder (1943) and Honsell (1944-1945).
