There are at least two excellent books which contain the information you are after. "Tigers in the Mud" by Otto Carius, a company commander in that unit, and "Tigers in Combat, Vol I" by Wolfgang Schneider. I think both may be available in paperback now.

Not to forget "Tiger I's in the East", by Jean Restayn or "Trail of the Tigers", by our own Ron Klages. The story of sPz. Abt. 502 is relatively well documented, but don't deceive yourself into thinking you'll follow them solely on the net, as opposed to by books.

If your main interest is simply head photos of the 502nd's top aces, Otto Carius, Hans Bolter, etc go to The Tiger I Information Center at http://www.alanhamby.com/aces.html. But the Commisar is right--if you want to really learn about that unit you'll have to read some books.

Happy New Year!
