Panzer Ersatz Battalions 1939

According to Jentz in "Panzer Truppen" when the Panzers were mobilized for war the battalions each gave up their 4th light company to form ersatz battalions. I know the composition of the ersatz companies, but I can't find whether or not the battalions formed had 3 or 4 companies assigned. I'm assuming they had 3 like the field battalions based on the way the data is presented, but since they are replacement units I'm not 100% sure as it would make sense to have less replacement battalions with more companies in each to me. Does anyone know?
