I may be able to post an OoB for s.Pz.Abt 501, but I am not sure what Herbstnebel is. I did a WWW search and:

History records two German military operations called Herbstnebel (Autumn Mist in German):

Operation Herbstnebel (Battle of the Bulge): A Plan created by Field Marshal Walther Model as an alternative to Martin and Wacht am Rhein. Never executed.
Operation Herbstnebel (Italy): A 1944 staff proposal to withdraw German troops in Italy behind the Po River. Rejected by Hitler.
Can you give me a date and location of Herbstnebel.

s.Pz.Abt 501 did not take part in the Ardennes counter-offensive. The 501 was deployed on the Eastern Front at this time.

s.SS.Pz.Abt 501 (formerly 101) was deployed in the Ardennes. I guess it would be easy to confuse the Heers heavy battalion 501 with the SS heavy battalion 501.

On Dec. 2 1944 S.SS-Pz.Abt. 501 had 45 Tiger IIs the organization was:

Battalion HQ had 3 tiger IIs: 007, 008, and 009

1.st company 14 tiger IIs
Company HQ: 105, 104
Platoon 1: 111, 112, 113, 114
Platoon 2: 121, 122, 123, 124
Platoon 3: 131, 132, 133, 134

2.nd Company 14 Tiger IIs
Company HQ” 205, 204
Platoon 1: 211, 212, 213, 214
Platoon 2: 221, 222, 2223, 224
Platoon 3: 231, 232, 233, 234

3.rdCompany 14 Tiger IIs
Company HQ: 305, 304
Platoon 1: 311, 312, 313, 314
Platoon 2: 321, 322, 323, 324
Platoon 3: 331, 332, 333, 334

No, I am talking about a Panzerjager-Abteilung, not a Tiger unit.
Thanks,

I never heard of s.Pz.jager Abt. 501 before and can't find any thing on it on the WWW,I thought you must have meant s.Pz.Abt. Sorry for misunderstanding.

Wow great link, I can't find 501 there, but there is.

Festungs-Panzerabwehr-Abteilung 511. But it was disbanded in 1940.
