A not on Schnelle Abteilung 127:

The date for naming this Abt. back into PzJgAbt. 127 is 2.12.42

Kdr. was OTL. Kurt Lachnitt, he was awarded with the romanian order of Michael the Brave in 1942.

By the way, my work on the KTB of PzAbt.138 is still in progress...

Where can I find this KTB? I looked through both of your websites, but couldn't find it.

Dear Abel and Troops (Hi, Evil One)

Below are three entries from a Wikipedia page about Knight's Cross winners. An Oberst Dr. D. Wilhelm Goller is listed. Might he have been the Goller mentioned in your posts?

Does anyone have any idea of exactly how many troops, German and Italian, escaped from Tschertkowo before its capture in January 1943 and reached German lines (probably 19th Panzer's lines)?

Best,
David

I've found this tread very, very interesting.

By the way, anyone knows what exactely was that "white" house. What importance had to the fighting ??

DOes exist any report about the surviving tanks of FBB at the end of the fighting.

Many thanks

Eduard
