Searching KStN 1194 (issued 01.10.1937)

Post by Falou »

Hi,

I'm searching the complete KStN 1194, dated from 01.10.1937 who give the composition of a signal Platoon from a Panzer-Regiment. I'm possessing the Mr Niehorster's book (volume 1/I) so, I'm knowing the material dotation:

2 x Sd Kfz 267 and 1 x Sd Kfz 121 for the platoon
and two ligth tel sections, each with one Kfz 15/1.

But what about the soldiers? The organisation exact of this unit? Could someone gives me these informations?

In advance, thanks a lot!

Hi John,

Thanks for this reply, but I know this site (very excellent!). Unhappy, KStN 1194 is not listed in these pages.

Falou,

That particular KStN doesn't excist anymore.
I am only speculating here, since I don't have that volume from Dr. Niehorster, but isn't there an asterix behind that KStN?
It means he doesn't have that KStN, but made an estimated guess on the structure of those particular subunits.

Hope this helps,

Piet

Hi Piet,

Thanks for your answer.
No, in Niehorster's book, there is no asterix behind this KStN. I've verified in volum 1/I and 1/III: no asterix. Is it a mistake or this KStN realy exists?

Falou,

There's the 1.2.41 version of the KStN 1194 (Sd.), but no earlier versions, or even later. Only one option here.
