Still slugging away at all things North africa in truth. Those pesky Italians have been monopolising my Axis research of late, I thought that it was time to redress the balance a little.
The Indian Commonwealth Battalions are proving a mare's nest too!

Was III/255 Schuetzen Regiment ever part of 90th Light? or just attached?
When did it arrive in N.Africa?

How about the HQ of Afrika-Division z.b.V. When did that arrive, and did it change at all when the Division became 90th Light Armoured?

So, no mention of the extra artillery! However Forty (
The Armies of Rommel p128-9) says that
Initially, the Italian 'celere' Artillery Regiment was part of the division, and three Italian infantry battalions (2/255, 3/347 and 2/115 (mot) were attached.

Rich, I take it that you typed this out yourself because my copy of Bender has "3./Panzerjäger Abteilung 33, etc" and not III./Pz Jgr Abt 33. The reason that I point this out is that the 3./ indicates a Company while III./ indicates a battalion.
