Don't worry - just try and DO something and the problem will come back...

Something has been amiss for about a fortnight now; late in the wee smallhours here - evening in the US - there was a week and a half of SQL errors...and now for the last two-three days the very slow response times timing out on screen refreshes and navigation.

Well and good, but a link to a site which I have been unable to access for about 3 weeks doesn't convey much information. I recently (in the last couple of days) have also stopped receiving email alerts on threads I have been watching.

tracert consistently shows my requests getting lost in the bowels of theplanet.com.

You do get in if you keep trying. Let's just say Marcus wouldn't appreciate me copying the contents of that thread on here...

AHF still has problems. I was not able to access any of the forums on the site before it timed out.

The intensity of the attack has lowered since there height from a few days ago, but they have not gone away altogether.

One cannot say for certain what motivates these hackers, be it a personnel, political or just downright mischief, but whatever it is, its a threat to us all.

It appears that AHF is experiencing problems again. When one attempts to open a thread on any of multiple forums the message below is returned

Yep, it's been winding up to falling on its face for two weeks now - response times, page refreshes, posting etc. have been terrible at times. But tonight it looks as if at least one database table has fallen over and not recovered automatically.
