Problems with Feldgrau

Post by hughc »

Hi

I've finally registered having viewed Feldgrau almost since Jason started it - great site! :D

However I'm having a problem viewing parts of the site, e.g. if I try to access a particular officer's details I get the following error message:

Warning: mysql_fetch_array(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /home/feldgrau/public_html/search-officers2.php on line 12
Sorry, no records were found! Return to Feldgrau

I used to be able to view these details with no problems. Can you help? Thank you.

Think Hughc means the .com and not .net-section of feldgrau.
Don't think it works for anyone... Have the same problem myself!

Does this help phylo?

Interesting. Looks like a database "hook" from one SQL table to another isn't there. I'll let this thread hang here for 24 hours - then it'll vanish; that'll be just me moving it into the Mods Zone for Jason to see.

Thanks for bringing this up. I will look into this ASAP and get this issue fixed. Looks like a snag from the switch to the new web server which deals with databases differently than our old server!

Hi Jason, (Phylo, Waleed) I was wondering whether you are still working on a fix for this problem, which still exists? :(

Thanks

I should be getting back on top of this over the holidays with a plan to be releasing a new main page and updated database pages soon. I've been unable to address these issues since mid/late summer as I was away traveling for many weeks and I have also been heavily involved in training with my reserve unit. That training and my travel time is slowing down so I will once again have more time to address these matters. Thanks for your patience!
